Jan. 14-17 International Falls Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run and Ice Box Days — Crazy winter activities including smoosh racing, turkey bowling and snowshoe challenges.
Jan. 16 Bemidji Brrrmidji Polar Days Festival — Activities include a Polar Plunge, sled derby, broomball, 5K Polar run/walk and a fishing contest.
Jan. 22-24 Hackensack Back to Hack — Community bonfire, fireworks, lighted parade, ice racing and snowmobile radar runs.
Jan. 30-31 St. James Cabin Fever Weekend — Here’s a chance to get out and enjoy some great activities.
Jan. 30-31 Center City Celebration of the Lakes — Hot-air balloon launches, sled- dog rides, snowmobile racing, family ice skating, horse-drawn hayrides, vintage snowmobiles and a concession tent with hot food and beverages.

Feb. 21 Redwood Falls Second Annual Relay for Life fundraiser for cancer awareness at the Estebo Performing Arts Center at the Redwood Valley High School. Titled “Dancing with the Stars,” it will feature local couples displaying original dancing techniques and competing for top honors.
Feb. 25 St. Cloud Day of Dance — Try new dance steps and heart-healthy foods. Gift bags to the first 500 attendees. Sponsored by St. Cloud Hospital and Spirit of Women. 4:30-8 p.m. at the Holiday Inn. Free.
